One of the few remaining NS engines in Conrail scheme leads this Enola, PA to Knoxville, TN manifest. Captured waiting on the siding for the NS 16T to come north.
The SD50 is becoming a vanishing breed on the NS, so it was nice to catch this one in action crossing Captina Creek before it gets sent away for storage or a rebuild.

The Hill Job is on it's way back from Barin's quarry, but before heading back to the yard, they switch at a local foundry that makes automotive brake parts.
